Beware From Agonia Records

Ave,

Finally, I am free from busy time and i've decided to write this article, because i want everyone to know.

Have you ever heard in extreme metal industry of a label called Agonia Records? I will not criticize them, but i will let you know how they treated me and how they gave a bad idea about how the extreme metal scene is today, and how blind they are.

First thing to know I spent a good time to promote their music, bands .. and i really don't know why i did that, Is it the spirit of a real metalhead that supports the scene a scene that has become a real drama, or something else. those people really exploit me alot, i have managed their facebook page for some months more than that i must say it's me who launched the page, after they contacted me to collaborate, i said OK you can use it but i have to still admin (Here's the page => facebook.com/agoniarecords they use it now) .. and some months later they deleted me from the administration of the page for no reason, and with no THANKS, or a little credit. and i still keep all the conversation, just contact me and i will send you hunderds of lies from them .. you know that feeling when someone uses you .. Full Anger!!

What i have to say : these people are seriously dangerous and beware from them. and i promise that i will use my whole knowledge on extreme metal against these people and spread this message to all of you, and real metalheads everywhere.

Next time is you.

1 – First of all thank you for taking time to answer my questions, can give us a short description about your Band? And the Band Style?
We would like to thank you for showing interest and supporting us through th
is interview.Cosmic Ekpurosis were created at the beggining ,of 2011
and at the middle of March. we have Our style is based on classic black metal that is also influenced by the orthodox and swedish scene as well.
The influences that we have vary alot! For example Marduk ,Deathspell Omega , Death , Mayhem , Darkthrone ,Burzum,Arkhon Infaustus, some also say Antaeus,Aosoth and Hell Militia.

2 – What’s the Meaning of the Band Name?
Our name has its roots from Greek ancient philosophy and the meaning
is the periodic destruction of the universe by fire and its subsequent recreation.

3 – i listened to your split cd with Ars Macabra and it sounds Great. how you met ars macabra?
Thanks for your good words. We were having a conversation with Milan Rakic , the man behind Grom Records, about our material and his desire to release it and it was him that proposed me to cooperate with Ars Macabra
in order to release it as a split. So actually Milan got Ars Macabra and us in touch.

4 – And do you have plans after the release of the split cd, live shows?
Yes we have already started working on new material for a full length album, and we have booked a live show on January 2012 supporting Acherontas.Embrace Of Thorns, Nocturnal Vomit and Devathorn are the rest of the bands that participate on that fest. It's a very good fest including very notable bands and we are very satisfied that we are a part of it too,

5 - What do you think about Black metal scenes today?
The good thing with Black Metal is that this type of music is always developing.
There is always something new coming up with time.I think that this scene has still a lot to offer.

6 – Largest Source of Inspiration in music, beliefs?
Largest source of inspiration...Everything that can affect our lives.Everything that happens around our existence , possitive or negative.

7 – When you write new music, what do you prefer to do? And what the places that inspires you?
There is nothing special , or such places that drives us to inspiration.Ispiration may come to you at any moment.

8 – What are your all time Favourites Albums?
This is an easy question with a very difficult answer hahaha. It's very difficult to decide.I'll tell you the ones that come in my mind at the moment. Mayhem-De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas , Darkthrone-Panzerfaust,Marduk-Opus Nocturne,Nightwing,Panzer Division Marduk,Plague Angel, Deathspell Omega-SMRC,Fas - Ite, Maledicti, in Ignem Aeternum,Death- Symbolic ,Gorgoroth-Under The Sign Of Hell , Funeral Mist - Salvation, Watain - Rabid Deaths Curse,Casus Luciferi, Dissection -The Somberlain,Immortal-At the Heart of Winter,Blizzard Beasts,Battles in the North,Pure Holocaust, Diabolical Fullmoon Mysticism,Gospel Of Grief - Our Symbol Is Death. Interview with Svarttjern (Norway) By Black Trail Promotion (Morocco)

SVARTTJERN (NORWAY)

1 – First of all thank you for taking time to answer my questions, can
you give us a description about Svarttjern? And the Band Style?

Sgt.V: Svarttjern is a band that you would find deep inside a cold
the blackest tunes to summon the dark spirit stenchy cave. Messing
within mankind...

2 – What’s the Meaning of the Band
Name?

Sgt.V: The name is taken from a painting by August Cappelen with the same name. It has nothing to do with the CARPATHIAN FOREST song witch
may seem obvious” nor with the famous google translate “blacktarn” as
we often get called…” The painting has a gloomy and dark theme, witch
kind of represents our music.

3 – Your Second album ‘Towards the Ultimate’ Will out On Agonia
Records the 27th October 2011, Can you give us an idea how it will
sound? I Read interessant reviews online...

Sgt.V: TTU will sound more complex and "full-blooded" than MPOM. You
could say it interacts more with the feeling of the listener, and
chaos is more controlled. If you enjoy listening to Blink 182, then
stay the fuck away.

HaaN: The “Towards The Ultimate” album is continuation from the debut
album, especially with the lyrical aspects. HansFyrste will reveal
much more than the MPOM album.
Musical wise there is just in general much more. This is by far a
concept album, but when compared to the debut, the tracks interacts
much more, hard to describe, listen to it.

4 – And do you have plans after the release of the

album, live shows or tours?

Sgt.V: We will do one release-show in Oslo, Norway a few days before
the album is released. Other than that, we have no touring-plans for
the moment.

5 – Which band you been touring or playing live with before would you
play with again?

HaaN: Never had a problem with any of the bands we have shared the
stage with, so there are a few... With that being said, the gig we did
with Nattefrost was great. We toured last year with Shining and
Sarkom, a great tour, would`t mind doing the same some time further
down the line.

6 – Svarttjern best live show ever?

HaaN: By far our appearance on the 2010 Inferno Festival. Place was
packed and everything went smooth for a change.

7 – Largest Source of Inspiration in music, beliefs?

HaaN: I can only speak for myself on this question, as HansFyrste and
I are the two creative forces in the band, and we have a different
approach when creating. I don`t have obvious musical inspiration, at
least not in terms of other bands, think one would have heard
immediately if the was an obvious band of inspiration. When in a
creative phase I try to distant myself from all music.

8 – When you write new music, what do you prefer to do? And what the
places that inspires you?

HaaN: Well, drunk in my studio has done the trick so far, so sticking
with that. Might sound like a cliché, but anywhere can inspire me,
dosen`t have to be the fjords, mountains etc, could be in moss.

9 – Svarttjern Uses TNBM Banner, as some Norwegian Bands (Urgehal,
tsjuder, darkthrone ...). What do you think of the Black metal scene
in Norway today?

Sgt.V: Personally I see the TNBM banner as a mark of quality. Not many
bands can stand for what it represents. And those who use it for
"FUN", get a grip! I've seen German bands using this banner. No
explanation needed. As black metal is more and more decreasing in
Norway, not many bands are left that play TRUE black metal. Some
really good stuff is happening in NIDAROS, be sure to check out bands
from that area. But I prefer quality before quantity, so i don't mind
that there are not too many bands around.

10 – What are your all time Favourites Albums?

Sgt.V: This is impossible to answer. But 2 albums worth mentioning is
EXODUS - BONDED BY BLOOD and MORBID ANGEL - ALTARS OF MADNESS. Neither
has one single "dead" track, and is a total masterpiece all the way.

11 – Thank you for answering my questions and good luck with new cd.

If you have a message to the reader please feel free :

Check out our new album for a piece of black art supremacy.

Interview With Black Metal Band (Finlande) Nox Ultima Done By Black Trail Promotion.

Ave!! Interview With Black Metal Band (Finlande) Nox Ultima Done By Black Trail Promotion.

1) - First of all, thanks for taking time to answer our questions, Can you give a short description of your Band? And the style?

Nox Ultima is black metal with a elements that borrow mostly from death metal and ritualistic

music. The compositions are celebration and rituals that seek to glorify and pay homage to all the vital and empowering ideals that affect our lives. The style of black metal that we play could be described as raw black metal, but without all the constant blasting and muffled sounds that resemble bees in a box. Sure, the sound is raw (both off and on stage) but such rawness is necessary to convey the exact feelings that the songs seek to evoke. Nature is not sleek, refined and processed so why should our praises to everything primal be refined, processed and sleek?

2) – What’s the Meaning behind the band name?

Nox Ultima is the ultimate darkness that gives meaning to every act and instance of light. Without the eternal dance of polar opposites there can be no meaning. Struggle and conflict are needed as themes of life for life to have any meaning. Unlike a brave new world where the swallowing of a single pill will grant eternal bliss, ours is a world where diversity is possible if one embraces a Promethean fire and with resolve sets upon their own path.

3) – The act that pushed you to play Black Metal?

We were brought together as a group because of our need to play this sort of music. Each of us had empty hollows in our lives that could only be filled by playing the sort of music that we loved. For some of us, black metal serves as an outlet for aggression, for some it is the love for the genre that makes participation and playing feel right. For me it is the feeling of attaining the intangible and the mystical when playing these ritual compositions under a certain, manipulated, state of mind. The unattainable and the intangible become realities.

4) – How do you see the actual position of the band, compared to when you started playing music? Any changes happened to your style?

Good question. Nox Ultima isn’t actually even that old, so it’s quite easy to remember the “olden days”. When we first started our style was at the same time, more simplistic and yet perhaps even more progressive. A lot of signature changes that have been pretty much been left out on the newer songs. Also, most of the newer songs

are quite the bit longer and perhaps faster. The lyrical content hasn’t changed a bit and most likely will never change from the topics expressed thus far. I can tell you that our yet unreleased material will have perhaps even more mid-pac ed elements that reek of death metal without the songs ever loosing that black metal feel.

5) - I know & listened many Finnish B.M band, how do you see the scene today in Finland?

To tell the truth, we’re not really interested in the scene. We’ve made some friends and everyone seems really honestly interested in what they are doing with their music and also met with people who have been quite vocal about their preferences and views and what black metal should and should not be. Unbent and unbroken we stand on our own and will continue to do what we deem important.

Personally I believe in co-operation between musicians to a great extent, which probably means that in the future we’ll try to get some of our friends from other bands together and do something interesting with then.

Split albums with local groups are also more than likely to appear in the not-too-distant future. Perhaps it could be said that while, the black metal scene is slightly even alien to us, we do have friends and allies with similar musical aspirations whom we will be supporting and as much as we can.

6) – Largest source of inspiration?

Our musical inspirations are drawn mainly from all forms of metal. Perhaps the ones that we collectively have professed our love of are Darkthrone and Carpathian Forest (we’ve actually been playing cover songs from both of these bands). Other notable influencing bands are Morbid Angel, Incantation and Dissection. A lot of inspiration is also drawn from books and from the world around us. All life pulses to a certain rhythm; you can never know when this rhythm happens to provide you with a drumbeat or a guitar riff. All it takes is the willingness to listen.

7) – What the band plans in the coming months, releases & shows?

Well, first off, we’ll be playing a single gig in Helsinki in October. After this we should most likely be ready to start recording new material. The initial plan is to record a cassette with few songs of our own material and some covers that we’ve been playing around with. The main idea with the cassette is to record it live and not process the material in any way – a true capturing of the raw and unvarnished sound of our music, unspoiled and uncorrupted. The chosen format is also a tribute to those who still cling onto their tape decks and vinyl players. We salute you!

We’ll also be recording a new cd with the customary four songs (this time an intro and three other songs) almost at the same time. Which comes out first isn’t certain at this time. We’ll probably try to spend some time honing the new material so we can be sure of the quality. The new material is a bit faster and more demanding than the old one. Also, it’s really important that we get a right sound for the songs, since atmosphere is extremely important.

8) – Are you guys signed or being signed to a record label?

We’ve had some discussions with labels, and even though the people involved were more than able partners, we unfortunately could not agree on the terms. This means that we’re still unsigned and will remain so until we can find a label that is able to offer us what we require.

9) - Thanks for your time and good luck for your future projects with NOX ULTIMA. If you want to tell something please feel free :

Support your local scene, attend gigs, drink, use other substances, let the music take you to place where you’ve never been, feel the pulse of the world in your veins and live a little.

Interview with Lord Ahriman (Dark Funeral).

Sweden’s Dark Funeral are without doubt one of the most notorius and highly regarded of the Black Metal genre. They epitomize the dark essence that is and always will be at the true heart of the European scene.

1) - Dark Funeral has seen so many member changes over the years, Now the black circle is closed, can you give us some words about the new members, and how you met ?

Lord Ahriman) Yeah, but I'm not
the one who look back, but rather forward and try to overcome whatever situation that occur. And as long as I personally have the soul in the band, I will continue to wave the flag of Swedish Black Metal. As long as my dark spirit is burning inside, I will continue with the Dark Funeral crusade, no matter who stays or leaves.

This time, when we searched for new members, we raised the bar A LOT!. We could obviously have chosen the quick and easy way, brought in some great and talented session musicians, and just kept on touring, but because we wanted and decided to set out with our most serious intention to build a new, much stronger and sustainable line-up, that was an option was ruled out immediately. Besides finding new, highly professional and totally dedicated members, one thing I personally wanted this time, was to find members who shared a strong commitment in everything that surrounds the band. And not only the "fun" things, if you know what I mean?!

Anyway, for the recent additions, we had an open search on our websites where musicians could send in there applications. The interest to join Dark Funeral was quite overwhelmin to say the least. And way over our expectations. With over a thousand applications, from all dark corners of the world, we did however have quite an interesting, but also tough, job to go through, valuate, analyze everyone and so forth, before we finally came down to only a few highly interesting candidates that we wanted to have a closer look at. And from there you go...

Now when the new line-up is all set in place, I can only say that we truly overcome ourselves. Now every single member of Dark Funeral is sharing a tremendously strong commitment, an absolute dedication as well as utter professionalism. And I am absolutely sure that what you, our dear fans, soon will be able to
witness that this unholy gathering of these five knights in Satan’s service is the most sinful and powerful Dark Funeral ever!

Our new and current line-up consists, besides myself of: Chaq Mol (Guitars), Dominator ( Drums), Nachtgarm (Vocals) and Zornheym (Bass)

Our new and stunning vocalist is called Nachtgarm and is from Hamburg, Germany. And have a long history with band such as Negator and Sanguineus to mention a few. Our new bassplayer Zornheym is from Sweden and have a history with band such as Devian, Suicidal Seduction and Aktiv Dödshjälp.

For more information on our new (or old) members I would suggest you check out each members official fanpage on facebook.

2) - Are you expecting to begin touring soon and if so what is planned?

Lord Ahriman) Yes. We are currently busy rehearsing to get in killer shape and to be able to hit the road as soon as possible to unleash hell upon mankind once again! We will premiere the new line up by playing the Sweden Rock Cruise on October 6-7 (with Exodus, Anvil and Helix + two yet to be confirmed acts). And from there we will try and keep busy touring as much as possible throughout the world. Make sure to keep tuned in to one of our websites to
keep fully updated on our new tour dates.

3) - Any chance to play in Africa or morocco one day? Dark Funeral are well know here

Lord Ahriman) I'm glad to hear that we have a fan-base in Morocco, that's fantastic!. And you know what. We would absolutely love to play there! If you really want to help us make it happen, the best you, the fans can do, is to get your horde together and keep pushing your local promotor/venues to book us!!! That's a rule that applies worldwide! You find our booking agency athttp://www.dragon-productions.eu

4) - When you formed Dark Funeral, were there goals for what the band would sound like?

Lord Ahriman) I've always had in mind to try and create the ultimate Satanic Metal Symphony.

5) - Now do you think Dark Funeral reached its aim?

Lord Ahriman) Well, we're on the right track, but I still find a great inspiration to keep on improving our sound further. To bring our music into yet another dark and hellish dimension but also to push myself and what I'm capable of doing as a guitarist and songwriter.

6) - Which band you been touring with before would you tour with again?

Lord Ahriman) Cannibal Corpse, Naglfar, Endstille to mention a few.

7) - Where do you think the band have the most dedicated fans?

Lord Ahriman) South/Latin America, no question about it!

8) - If you ever would lack inspiration. What do you do to gain that again?

Lord Ahriman) Try to cleanse my mind from stress and pressure, both from the inside and outside.

9) - What are your all time favourite Metal albums?

Lord Ahriman) It's almost impossible for me to say. It pretty much change from day to day, depending on in which mood I wake up.

Lord Ahriman, Thank you for answering my questions and good luck for the future With Dark Funeral and your other side Projects. We can't wait to see you here, if you want to tell the readers anything else, please feel free:

Lord Ahriman) Thanks for your show of interest and support! As I previously said. Get your horde together and keep pushing your local promotor/venues to book us! As soon as we have a serios offer, I can assure you that we will come and play, can't wait!

Interview With Black Metal Band AOSOTH (Fr) By Black Trail Promotion Online Here :

Black Trail Promotion (Morocco) Interview with Black Metal Band Aosoth (France). Enjoy it.

1) - First of all, thanks for taking time for an interview with us. ....

How are you? You've released your third album "III" a few months ago. Are you pleased with the fans & press-reactions?

*** Hails, thks to you for having Aosoth featured on your zine.....

The band is pleased with the work Agonia did put in the promotion & how the album did turn out, both cd & lp version. Press reactions: they have been very good for the most, which has been a surprise, we did not expect that; "fans": too strong of a word for a band of our size, but apart from some comments we got to read online, there is not many individuals that I know who own the album, nor do I have any idea if any even did give it a listen.....

This album being quite different from the previous one, i guess that it will need time to be "accepted" or so.

2) - Is there a lyrical theme to "III"? Talk us about the track titles choice?

*** III is one piece, one chapter divided in six scenes. Thus the six different musical tracks & an epilogue finishing the sixth track. Lyrics written by me are depicting personal vision, somehow of a performance, having to let it all out on a subject which is my very own, yet formulated in ways that can lead some readers to some different interpretations. Vocals for me have mostly always been like a minor instrument in a recording. ....

Thus I tend to avoid discussing such matters, the Essence is there, you can feel it while experiencing this recording, then you do not always have to analyze what is within. All is genuine and it somehow gets me pissed off to have to listen to it. I wish I could have had my own version and then just have a "without any vocals" version out. Which is why I'm having a limited lp (to 100 copies) of the instrumental version of the third album on my own label I did ressurect Spikekult rekords (we did release vinyls from GBK, watain, averse sefira, secrets of the moon, demoncy &

so on in the past...).

3) - "III" is your second album with Agonia Records; are you satisfied with their work?

*** If you do refer to the rumors about Agonia (which has been more or less mentionned in each interview we've been doing for the last two years ): I can say that Aosoth wise, we do not have to complain. ....

We are on a label that releases our albums on both cd & LP format. Did improve a lot promotion wise with the newest release; there is really only improvement coming from their side. Distribution wise, the fact they are in ....Poland.... might be an issue with all the postal problems and also the fact that many individuals are not too keen on ordering in east Europa. Yet so far: all we did agree on has been done and we are nearly on daily contact, which is quite rare with label / bands.......

4) - if i remember March & April 2011, you have been on tour with WATAIN & shining. How was this experience?

*** 17 days on the road with those two Swedish acts, interesting to witness them perform each night, yet was not providing us anything in the end. Already had to discuss this a lot, but that answer was rather fitting: To make it short, both of the Swedish band had their sound engineer and a soundcheck, a proper soundcheck. We never had that luxury, nor even getting the local guy to show much interest in helping us set up things. Aosoth did their best with what they had and that was very irritating for us. We were lucky in Liverpool, reading & ....Montpellier....... For instance in belgium & germany, simply no sound guy at first, they had to find someone in last minute (and for belgium, it was REALLY in last minute, the guy did show up while we were to go on stage, since it was the end of the tour and was bored of having to perform with shitty sound, was ready to cancel).....

Apart from that, was great to witness Watain each night and see again those guys since we've been in touch for many years. Also was my first time performing in ....Spain.... for instance, surprisingly good turn out considering it was on a week time. ....

Was a weird feeling though, in the end, being on tour makes you feel even more lonely than being reclusive at home... I havent been a guy "going out" for some times now, and on this tour, each time we would end up at the bar, witnessing the other bands and awaiting to reload the equipment... and it was really having to experience a distant world... really so different from the tour Antaeus did in 2002 for instance. Would recall that gigs were also a good opportunity to meet up with individuals with whom I was in touch for decades or so... this time, well... But Aosoth being unknown and us having to perform in difficult condition guess that did explain the no interest or so.....

Another very good souvenir from the tour, was the very last day in ....Holland.... where Set Teitan came with us to perform Inner war as second guitar player. Perfect way for us to close the tour.

5) - What are the plans for Aosoth in the coming months? Concerts & tour, new album or release?

*** there are no plans for the year to come for Aosoth, since there is no stable line up nor any way we could afford touring, nor any offers : nothing will happen. That Watain tour was as far as we could get, it's a "one time" only in a band's carreer, considering us being french and very underground. ....

Gig, there was a talk to at least do one in our area, but now highly doubt it would happen. Who knows though, we'll see in the 12 coming months. Bst is to resign with Agonia to release an album before 2013. So this could happen, yet not sure either.....

The only release that will be done for sure is the instrumental version of III, since I will release it myself. Apart from that, nothing.....

6) - Where do you see actual situation of extreme metal music in France.?

*** Am not aware of anything related to the french scene. Nor do I care... that would be more precise, it's been the same since I started the zine in 93, better ask other individuals or even others within Aosoth to talk about French scene. ....

Would only mention Norma Evangelium Diaboli for their support in the past and Necroblood I will release on Spikekult. All other individuals in Aosoth do have at least one band in which they are active, if not more: would have been better to ask them, but they will answer most of the interviews in the future, so then such question will get a different perspective.

7) - what are your all time favourite albums?

*** Weird question. I have none that I can think of.....

....

Early Diamanda Galas, Brighter death Now, Genocide Organ, Karjalan Sissit, all early Incantation eps (thus the Onward to Golgotha album)... those are among the artist I keep on playing once in a while. But keep in mind that I would be the only one in the band who is not listening to music much at all. ....

If I listen to one album per week, that would be the maximum. ....

My collection is now mostly composed of my old demo tapes, split eps & some vinyl.....

8) - Thank you for answering my questions and good luck for the future With Aosoth in your other Projects. If you want to tell the readers anything else, please feel free :

*** Thks for the support to Aosoth & the side projects of the other members.....

AMSG....
